Covid-19 Special

Duluth Audubon Society’s Bird Counting Contest – sheltering in place style! Win a prize!

Since we will not be having our April program, let’s try to lighten the mood. Covid-19 can’t keep us from watching our birds so join us this Monday, March 30th for a friendly little competition! All are welcome to participate, but only Duluth Audubon Society members are eligible for the prize. The prize will be your choice of a DAS t-shirt or a set of binocular straps.

From 0700 to 1200 noon, count the species observed, as well as individuals of each species you see in or from your yard. Try not to count the same bird multiple times if they are regular feeder visitors or if they are leaving and rejoining a flock.
